Great idea, but I cannot get this to work on either of my MCE 2005 RU2 machines. Crashes on both when I access it in the EHOME shell.

I have updated the installer so it should work now.

The screen that pops up does not really support my monitor (1280x768)...the background sort of cuts off and starts over again, if you know what i mean.

I got this to work on a second monitor (MCE display on secondary monitor) by using nVidia Desktop Management to force this application to open on the second monitor - by default, your program opens on the primary monitor - which usually isn't the TV - which means you still need to get over to the computer to set the timer.

However, since a normal standard def. TV need only have a resolution of 800x600 (a TV can't display a higher res. anyway and this low res. saves GPU overhead); The "+" button appears offscreen. Is there a way we can change the option screen to fit in an 800x600 window? Thanks!!!

I installed, had an error (posted error info on TheGreenButton site), and told MCE to remove Sleep Timer v2. I then uninstalled it through the control panel. Now, I've reinstalled, but can't get it to show up in the More Programs window, even though it's set to display it. Any suggestions?

Update: I got the icon back, but it still crashes everytime I try to run Sleep Timer v2. It gives a different set of error codes each time, as well.

When i start MCE Sleep Timer the mouse remains on the cancel button and can't use my remote control to select. i think it is because of the screen resolution, i am using 1280x1024. plese help me.... mihai_fleseriu@yahoo.com

It would be nice to have a specific sleep time (ie 3:00AM) in addition to the timer method. Also, can there be a separate settings menu and just an "activate" button to activate whatever settings are on it? Finally, the sound when clicking the + button repeats for a long time, so the select.wav file should be edited to be as short as possible.

OMG FINALLY. I was wondering why they didn't even put it in WMC on their own.

Would be nice if it could run inside media center. I have a dual monitor setup (normal monitor + HDTV) and I use Media Center on the secondary monitor (HDTV). Everytime I open "Sleep Timer", it opens up on the primary monitor (outside Media Center) while using the secondary monitor resolution, so it looks tiled. I hope I made sense. Or, at least make it open in the same monitor as MC. I also wonder why MS didn't include it.

I tried your application on Vista Media Center and it runs well but I usually use my MCE on the secondary screen (I have 2 lcds, when I see MCE I turn off the first because they are far). Is there a way to start your application in the second screen? Because when I start it I see it at full screen on the first monitor. Thank you!

Doesn't work with the MCE remote, it's stuck on Cancel all the time :-(
